You’ll have time to wander and take in the venue at your own pace.
Feel free to take photos, make notes, or start visualising how your day could unfold.

If you need time to decide, we’ll provide all the details you need to reflect and get back to us when you’re ready.
How to Prepare for Your Viewing
To make the most of your visit, here are a few tips to help you prepare:
1. Know Your Guest Numbers
Having a rough idea of how many people you’d like to invite helps us suggest the best layout options.
2. Think About Your Ideal Season
Whether you’re dreaming of a summer celebration or a cosy autumn wedding, it’s good to have a preferred time of year in mind.
3. Bring Key Decision-Makers
If possible, bring your partner or anyone else involved in making the venue decision. It’s helpful to get their thoughts, too.
4. Prepare Questions
Jot down any must-know details, such as catering options, décor flexibility, accommodation nearby, or weather contingency plans.
5. Take Photos & Notes
Capturing details during your visit can be helpful when comparing venues later.
6. Enjoy the Experience!
This is an exciting part of your wedding planning—take it all in, ask plenty of questions, and picture how your day could unfold at Daviot Steading.
We are looking forward to showing you around!
