What does the evening include?

You can choose between two ticket types:

  • Dance Only – enjoy a lively ceilidh with the Highland Fire Ceilidh Band
  • Dinner & Dance – a traditional three-course Scottish meal followed by dancing
What time does everything start?
  • Dinner is served from 7:15pm
  • Dancing begins around 9:30pm
  • The event finishes at approximately 12:30am

  • Guests who book Dinner & Dance will enjoy a traditional three-course Scottish meal, perfect for celebrating Hogmanay in true Highland style.

Is the event suitable for children?

A ceilidh is a traditional Scottish social dance with live music and a caller who guides you through the steps—no experience needed!

It’s all about having fun, so beginners are very welcome.

Highland Fire are a professional Scottish ceilidh band made up of experienced traditional musicians, known for energetic performances and getting everyone on the dance floor.

Yes, Daviot Steading is a fully licensed venue, so drinks will be available to purchase on the night.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is ample on-site parking available for guests.

Is there accommodation on-site?

There is no on-site accommodation, but there are nearby cottages and hotels in the Inverness area.
